Let's put this myth to bed right now. You cannot win at scratch offs every time. There is no way to beat the system and guarantee a win each time you play. Not in the way you really want.

(Do you really just mean 'win' or do you actually want a 'profit'..?)

You could buy a ton of tickets, and that would mean you are extremely likely to win with at least one of them.

But if it's only a small win, and most of your tickets are losing tickets. Then overall you didn't really win.

So don't focus on the idea of 'winning every time'. Instead let's maximise your chances of winning something -- AND the chances of that being a big win.

It was good advice because I truly never focused on a particular game. Always took my chances on the lower dollar games. Now I see it's really worthless to focus on those. Using the formula you gave us I bought tickets for the top two games for that day in our state and actually won $10. Later that day bought 2 more tickets and won $15. Most I have won in years playing the lottery.

Hello, Just a couple of things to say. Nothing special. I printed the page that starts green number one and added new next. Stopped at a corner grocery store about half mile from me. He was very friendly and I asked for 4 of the fast cash HD. He said I only have 2 left. I said OK I will take the 2. I came back home, scratched the 2 and each one was worth $50 dollars. I was so excited I went to another store and lost almost half my win money on next batch. Let wife pick some one and two scratches and lost money. I am well pleased with the information I have received so far. I am not tech savvy with computer and smart phone.

Today I want to talk about how to play a scratch-off. Andwhy you should play it the RIGHT WAY.

First up. Scratchers are NOT games of skill. You cannot winmore on them by being 'better at playing scratchers'.

This comes as a big surprise to some people.

And yes, this does apply to all scratch-off tickets. Even theones that 'seem' to have an element of skill. So it doesn'tmatter if it is a crossword, Monopoly, word search, pokeror whatever!

How do scratchers work?

Every ticket is either a 'win' or 'lose' the moment you buy it.It does not matter who plays it.

Now there may be some element of skill or knowledge inUNDERSTANDING if you have won (and yes, there are ways to work out what are the best scratch offs to buy). But you cannot loseby being bad at playing. And you cannot win more by beinggood at playing.

So technically you don't even need to know how to play scratch off tickets - or even play the game. Youcan just hand the ticket over to the assistant and ask themto scan it, and tell you if you've won.

Yes, you could (and should), put your name and sign the backof the ticket before handing it over... but...
